Certified Start with Heart Facilitators Ashley Hall and Merideth Hite Estevez bring this course to artists and arts leaders who believe in a wholehearted approach to creativity and who want to build cultures that empower artists to live an expansive and aligned creative life.

Meet The Facilitators
Ashley Hall
Ashley Hall is a professional trumpeter, music educator, and ACC life coach. Whether she is engaging in innovative collaborations as principal trumpet with the Cincinnati Chamber Orchestra, performing interactive solo recitals around the world, making music with her family at home, or helping other artists discover their “why”, Ashley is committed to a whole-hearted approach to creative living. As the founding director of Longy School of Music of Bard College's Career Coaching program, Ashley has witnessed the power of coaching to transform arts education. She has facilitated The Anatomy: Foundational Coaching Course numerous times as a Graydin Start with Heart Facilitator and has presented nationally and internationally on the impact of coaching skills as means for culture change in the arts. Ashley is married to trumpeter/singer/arranger and anesthesiologist Dr. Nathan Tighe, and they reside in a log cabin in Cincinnati, OH with their two children Morgan and Kevin.
Merideth Hite Estevez
Dr. Merideth Hite Estevez is a creative catalyst, inviting all to the joy of creative expression through her writing, coaching, and performing. Her podcast Artists for Joy was an Award of Excellence Winner in the 2022 Communicator Awards and is in the top 1.5% of podcasts globally. She has led thousands of artists in communal creative recovery and discovery with her courses around Julia Cameron’s book “The Artist’s Way.” Merideth holds degrees in oboe from The Juilliard School and Yale University, is a Certified Start with Heart Facilitator through Graydin and a Certified Hope*writers Coach for Creatives. As a performer, she is currently English hornist of the Chamber Orchestra of NY and has also appeared with the Met Opera, PhillyPops, and other top orchestras in the US and abroad. She has served on faculties of numerous universities and schools of music, most recently as Associate Professor of Oboe at University of Delaware. When she’s not creating, she’s enjoying life with her husband Rev. Edwin Estevez, daughter Eva, and son Eli at home in the Detroit Metro-Area.
